Well now that the NFL Season is finally set to go, I guess we are too. I have set up an NFL game with family and friends for the past three years where each player picks the teams they think will win on a weekly basis. Last year I finally tweaked everything to just about perfection. So I decided to open the game to more players.
We will open the game to 10-15 players for the 2011 Season. First come first serve, so if you are interested shoot me an email @ ruready4somefootball.jw@gmail.com as soon as possible! The game closes to all new members by either September 1st or when we reach 15 players.
Why should you play? Well to me the football season is great whether you play fantasy football or similar games or if you simply wach games weekly in a relaxed setting. However, I will admit I get a rush making picks for the winning teams, trash talking, and waking up on a Sunday morning with real excitement and nervous energy...wondering if I got it right this week.
I only ask that if you decide to play, that you really commit, we don't want anyone dropping out mid season. To play you will subjected to deadlines, you may have to do some research on teams and players to stay competitive, and most likely you will be compelled to watch football on Sundays, Mondays, and some Thursdays and Saturdays.
