Super Bowl Results

Well we all know history repeats itself, but is it always this blatant? True to the 2007 season, the NY Giants entered the playoffs with a question mark on their backs, only to convincingly march their way to a Super Bowl Championship Title.  Only thing different this time, was they did get a home a game where they destroyed their opponent.  But NYG & NE would meet again on neutral turf, with the Giants ending the game with a win.

And so like the Giants, Jerome has repeated as a champion of our game! Congratulations to Jerome! He knows how to make a steady course a success!!! He has once again showed that knowledge, faith and a bit of luck can bring forth an ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALLLLLLLLLL!?!?!?!?!?!??! TROPHY~

Super Bowl Picks

So.... it all comes down to this!!!! One day, one nation, under god...yup it's the Super Bowl.  It's Super Bowl Sunday!!!!!! And who are the stars, perhaps the most understated teams of the season. 

The Giants, people had question marks all year, no one in the media was willing to give them their due props.  In their defense, The Giants were on an injury fueled roller coaster ride. 

The Patriots had key losses early on in the season, and their defense seemed to be lacking. How ironic that it was after the loss to the Giants, that the Patriots cruised quietly to the Super Bowl undefeated.  

So now they meet again! And I tell you, I am prepared for another epic game that will be called one of the best Super Bowl's of all time, like in 2007.  So the picks are below for your review...and let's say it for the last time of season....

Championship Results

As you all know, we are about to have a 2007 Rematch of one of the greatest SuperBowls ever! The buzz all began with the Championship results received almost two weeks ago.  Two final moment games, ending in a kick.  One making Billy Cundiff a household name, and had everyone screaming "Laces Out!". The other, good ol' Tynes hits a game winning field goal once again! Keep it going Tynes, we have one more game! So we have the Patriots vs. The Giants! Epic Repeat! The results are below for your review.

Championship Picks

Well today is the big day!  This is the game that makes a difference for everyone involved...who will go to the big dance! Who will be the stars of the game that everyone watches??? Well, there are two Sick Picks, because only two believe that BAL has a chance over NE. And what about the NFC?   Well it's still a bit one sided, with only three picking SF. So get ready people, it's going to be a fun day of football!!!

Division - Results

Division Week Did Not Disappoint! We had the nail biters, we had meaningful fourth quarter drives, defensive stops, turnovers galore and had to say goodbye to Tebow for the rest of the season. Another week to remember.  Congrats to Jerome & Jamees who received a perfect 12 for the week, just call us psychic...well at least Division Psychics :) ... But the Championship games might play out a bit differently, this weekend will tell the story!

Division Picks

Well after a Wild Week, we are ready to settle in for the Divisional Playoffs!  And I must say, with all four games, I believe it's anybody's game.  However collectively we feel that HOU does not have a chance, and one is sipping the Tebow Juice! Last week's tasty treat :). With SF vs NO and NYG vs GB we are split, and these games are sure to be nail biters! So let the games begin!

Wild Card - Results

Miracles can come true, they can happen to you...Well no miracles seemed like they would take place the weekend of the Wild Cards until Tebow played.  Unfortunately, no one picked Denver, so no one was able to capitalize on the situation. If you had picked only the home teams, you would have received all 8 points but alas the high was 6 and the winners of the week were, Renee, Unc Ant, Vanessa, and George! Congrats on winning a wild week of football!

Let the Playoffs Begin!  The Wild Card Picks are in! And yes they are wild for the most part....The DEN vs PIT game has been sealed as a PIT win.  However the remaining games have created a bit of a challenge for the group, especially HOU vs CIN, where we are almost split in half.  The remaining two games are Sick Pick worthy, only one choosing DET over NO and two choosing ATL to beat NYG.  Well let the games begin! We shall see where the weekend leaves us standing....or perhaps sitting it out for the rest of the playoffs!

Playoff Picks - Results

Playoffs! So we all know who is going to The Playoffs right? Well just in case, the results are the following:

AFC: NE, BAL, CIN, PIT, HOU, DEN                NFC: GB, SF, NYG, NO, ATL, DET

We picked who we thought would make it to the playoffs during week 10.  Week 10 was so long ago, it was when the season was still shifting and turning, when some of the "good" teams were on the cusped of going bad.  And while that was happening, new playoff prospects were stepping up.  So who had the predictions to beat them all???

ANTHONY!!!! Congratulations, he and he alone got it right 11 times with his Playoff Picks. Remember Playoff Picks are worth 2 points which rewards him with 22 points before The Playoffs begin!

Week 17 - Results

So the Regular Season is Over! What is so strange is that it ended very similar to the way it began, with George and Uncle Ant on Top! Congratulations! It's too bad, that unlike the first week, this time I couldn't join them.... Coming in Second Place were Jerome, Dante and Darleen with 12 points. Second Place was just enough to push the reigning Champion, Jerome back to first place to the end of the regular season. Congrats to Jerome, finishing the Regular Season on Top!
